The French painter was born in 1973, he makes his artistic first steps in the crossing of the hip-hop and the graffiti through the collective EN1/NEC at the end of the 80s.

His creations on paper and cardboard are presented for the first time to the public at the dawn of 2000s.

Michel Gagnol applies a technique of aplats of colors underlined with a black thin line and begin to build his own artistic universe rooted in the comic strip and the urban culture. From 2016, his style turns to more sensualism and mystery, while remaining focussed on the femmes fatales of the 50s and the Pop-Art movement.
